Commissioner Reives moved to <br />approve the minutes as the official record of said meeting. Upon a <br />vote, of Committee members only, the results were as follows: <br />Nay: Dossenbach, Reives and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered approval of the agenda. Chairperson <br />Matthews asked that the following items be added to the agenda: <br />consideration of School Construction Project ordinance, bid award for <br />Emergency Services ambulance and discussion on the Economic <br />Development proposal. Commissioner Stafford moved to approve the <br />agenda as printed with the above additions. Commissioner Reives nominated Ms. Clarissa Gunter to the <br />Library Board of Trustees. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a name change for the Lee County Library. <br />Library Director Mike Matochik told the Board that the Lee County <br />Board of Trustees is requesting a change of the name for the Lee <br />County Library to Lee County Library & Information Services. This is <br />requested to help people see and understand what the Library is <br />currently doing. This will also be in line with the recently <br />established County/Computer Technology Committee to look into the <br />future networking of computer services in cooperation among various <br />libraries and all county departments. Commissioner Reives moved to <br />approve the name change of the Lee County Library to Lee County <br />Library & Information Services.
