Upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously <br />and the Board was in executive session. Following the Boards's <br />discussion in executive session, Commissioner Dossenbach moved the <br />executive session be closed. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The meeting reconvened at 7:00 P.M. in the Commissioners Room of <br />the Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North <br />Carolina, with all members present. Commissioner Garner moved that <br />the Board hold joint public hearings with the Lee County Planning <br />Board on matters of mutual concern as advertised and scheduled for <br />this date and time. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Chairperson invited the Planning Board Members to join the <br />Commissioners for the joint public hearing. County Attorney K. R. <br />Hoyle presented the following: <br />A. Petition by John and Gail Foushee to rezone from <br />Residential Agricultural District to Highway Commercial Conditional <br />Use District a portion of land at the southwestern corner of Henley <br />Road and Center Church Road for the location of a 32 square feet <br />off-premises outdoor advertising sign as a directional sign to their <br />nursery. <br />Mr. John Foushee spoke in favor of the rezoning request. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the request. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to close the public hearing. Upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />r!)! "s <br />8 <br />
