BOOK 15 Ft'st 643 <br />County Manager William Cowan discussed the bids with the Board <br />following bids were received: <br />Forms & Supply $236,614.50 <br />Charlotte, NC <br />Bowen Office Equipment $237,118.48' <br />Sanford, NC <br />Raleigh Office Supply Co. $241,250.86 <br />Raleigh,NC <br />Interior Systems, Inc. $221,122.50 <br />West End, NC <br />Perfection Equipment Co. $237,036.81 <br />Siler City, NC <br />The <br />After some discussion Commissioner Reives moved to approve the low <br />bid from Interior Systems, Inc. for $221,122.50. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a proposal from Southern National Bank to <br />offer additional banking services to the County. Finance Director <br />Lisa Minter told the Board Southern National Bank had prepared a <br />proposal to add additional services of direct deposit and a full bank <br />reconciliation for the County. To add these services, the County <br />would need to add $90,000 to their non-interest bearing certificate. <br />After some discussion Commissioner Reives moved to approve the <br />proposal by Southern National Bank. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a request by County Attorney K. R. Hoyle to <br />allow the County Manager to schedule a public hearing when all <br />documentation has been received concerning the regulation of rates <br />for basic service, installation and equipment for Crown Cable. <br />Commissioner Garner moved the adoption of the following resolution: <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the County Manager be authorized and <br />os <br />6 <br />
