BooK 15 P~cF 640 <br />stated that the Food Pantry does a good job and serves a very useful <br />purpose in the community. He further stated that he had suggested to <br />Mrs. Foushee and Mr. Griffin during their meeting if they could not <br />locate a place to move to they could come before the Board of <br />Commissioners and request financial assistance and a decision would <br />be made at that time by the full Board. Commissioner Stafford urged <br />the Food Pantry to talk with the Apostolic Mission about possible <br />available space. He also supported commissioner Dossenbach's <br />recommendation that if the Food Pantry needed reasonable financial <br />assistance in the future they could come before the Board. No action <br />was taken on this matter. <br />The Board consider a budget request from ReEntry, Inc. to <br />provide Community Penalties to the Eleventh Judicial District by the <br />North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts. Ms. Louise Davis <br />and Dorothy Ehlers, Representatives from ReEntry, Inc. were present <br />and presented the request and answered questions of the Board. After <br />some discussion Commissioner Dossenbach moved to refer the matter to <br />the Finance Committee for consideration in the FY 1994-95 Budget. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered CostWise Provider Services for Emergency <br />Services. Blue Cross & Blue Shield Representative Betsy Dodson was <br />present and explained the program to the Board and answered <br />questions. After some discussion Commissioner Garner moved to <br />approve the CostWise Participating Provider Payment Plan with Blue <br />Cross & Blue Shield for Emergency Services. Upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a request from Central Carolina Community <br />College to transfer $4,300.00 of funds on hand for steel track <br />modifications in the Main Exhibit Hall at the Civic Center. County <br />Manager William Cowan explained to the Board the need for this <br />request. Commissioner Reives moved to approve the transfer of <br />$4,300.00 for Central Carolina Community College to improve <br />partitions in the Main Exhibit Hall at the Civic Center.
