0 0 08 <br />6~0~ ~5 ~,rr x'77 <br />• No one spoke in opposition to the request. <br />Petition by Deep River Minerals, Inc. to rezone from <br />Residential Agricultural District to Heavy Industrial Conditional Use <br />District 21.11 acres of land at 8731 Lower River Road for the <br />location of a specialty stone processing and sizing operation. <br />Messrs. David Hepple and Tom Oxholm from Wake Stone corporation <br />spoke in favor of the request. <br />Ms. Mary Ann Stewart of Sanford, Mr. & Mrs. Raymond Brookins of <br />3901 Lower Moncure Road spoke in opposition to the request. <br />Mr. Alvis Clegg of 1305 Pitkin Court, Raleigh, North Carolina <br />spoke. <br />After much discussion Commissioner Garner moved to defer <br />consideration on this matter until 7:00 P.M., June 20, 1994, to allow <br />individuals that could not attend this meeting to be present to <br />present their views/concerns of the request. Mr. Hepple was asked to <br />have more information available for the next meeting concerning the <br />operation he is proposing. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />• The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to close the public hearings. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Paschal moved to go into executive session to <br />discuss personnel matters. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously <br />and the Board was in executive session. Following the Board's <br />discussion in executive session, Commissioner Dossenbach moved the <br />executive session be closed. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />0 <br />8 <br />
