GA <br />® Commissioner Paschal moved to recess the meeting and to hold <br />public hearings jointly with the Planning Board. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously <br />and the Planning Board was asked to join the commissioners for joint <br />public hearings on matters of mutual concern as advertised and <br />scheduled for this date and time. <br />Planning Director Trevis Averett presented the following: <br />A. Petition by Barney Cranford and Howard Cranford to <br />rezone from Residential Agricultural District to Residential Mixed <br />Conditional Use District approximately 1.22 acres of land located on <br />the northern side of Chris Cole Road for the addition of one lot to <br />the existing Knottwood Mobile Home Park. <br />Mr. Barney Cranford spoke in favor of the rezoning request. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the request. <br />B. Petition by C.M. Laws, Laws Enterprise to rezone from <br />® Community Shopping District to Highway Commercial Conditional Use <br />District .79 acres of land south of Greenwood Road for the location <br />of compartmentalized storage of individual storage of residential and <br />commercial goods. <br />No one spoke in favor or opposition to the request. <br />C. Petition by Jack Maxwell to rezone from Residential <br />Restricted District to Highway Commercial Conditional Use District <br />2.94 acres of land on the western side of Jefferson Highway for the <br />location of manufactured home sales. <br />Mr. Jack Maxwell spoke in favor of the request. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the request. <br />D. Petition by Willie Godfrey to rezone from Residential <br />Agricultural District to Light Industrial Conditional Use District <br />1.35 acres of land at the southeastern intersection of Edwards Road <br />and John Godfrey Road for storage of flammable liquids (LP Gas #1075) <br />above ground for distribution. <br />Mr. Willie Godfrey of 8332 Juniper Creek Road spoke in favor of <br />the request. <br />0 <br />07 <br />7 <br />
