boo 15 r: r E71 <br />0 EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES PROGRAMS <br />Continue the EMS program for the new year, beginning July <br />1, 1994, for a total cost of $2,761.00. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered budget amendment # 05/16/94/18. County <br />Manager William Cowan discussed the budget amendment with the Board <br />and answered questions. Commissioner Stafford moved to approve <br />budget amendment # 05/16/94/18, a copy of which is attached to these <br />minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />® The Board considered change orders for the Courthouse/Jail/Law <br />Enforcement Center project. Architect Ed Fitchett was present and <br />told the Board a final walk-through inspection of the new facility <br />will be conducted on May 23, 1994, and completion of the building <br />should be by June 1, 1994. He discussed with the Board various <br />change orders concerning the project. After much discussion <br />Commissioner Reives move to approve the following: <br />CHANGE ORDER G-21 - ARMADA/HOFFLER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY <br />- Birdscreen at exterior louvers $ 889.00 <br />- Concrete curbs at duct penetrations in <br />mechanical room 3001 $2,888.00 <br />CHANGE ORDER E-4 - WATSON ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION COMPANY <br />- Security covers for smoke detectors in <br />detention areas <br />- 3-three gang floor boxes and related <br />conduit and wire in courtroom for one <br />additional receptacle <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />0 <br />$1,565.00 <br />$3,257.00 <br />05 <br />5 <br />
