~oo~ 15 rest S7~ <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION <br />OF NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND <br />MAILING OF NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS <br />WHEREAS, the water system extension policy and the statutes <br />defining service districts require public hearings before this Board, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, General Statute 153A-302(c) requires that a person be <br />designated to mail notices to the owners of the real property in said <br />proposed district and to make a certificate of such action; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for <br />Lee County as follows: <br />1. The Clerk to the Board is authorized and directed to <br />publish proper and legal notice of public hearings on the proposed <br />Cumnock Service District for Water Supply and Distribution System. <br />2. The Clerk to the Board is designated the person to mail <br />notice of the public hearing by first class mail to the owners of <br />real property in said district as shown by the County tax records as <br />of January 1, 1994, and at the address shown thereon and to certify <br />to the Board that such action has been accomplished. <br />S Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered aging and emergency medical services <br />coordination programs from Triangle J Council of Governments. County <br />Manager William Cowan answered questions of the Board. After some <br />discussion commissioner Garner moved to accept the recommendation of <br />the County Manager to approve the following share of funds for the <br />aging and emergency medical services programs for Lee County: <br />AGING FUNDS <br />$4,131.00 for administration of the federal and state <br />service funding and the cost of support for the Employment program to <br />be covered by in-kind administration of the program by various county <br />agencies and other organizations that provide supervision and <br />administration as worksites for the Title V employees; <br />0 <br />04 <br />4 <br />
