0 0 <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mrs. Annie Laura Pomeranz and Mr. Tommy Mann, Sr., <br />representating the Lee County Arts Center Support Committee, appeared <br />before the Board and asked the Board of Commissioners to go forward <br />with a project to renovate the Lee County Arts Center. After some <br />discussion, Chairperson Matthews referred the matter to the Building, <br />Grounds and Utilities Committee and asked them to bring <br />recommendations to the full Board at the next meeting on June 20, <br />1994. <br />The Board considered recommendations from the Planning Board. <br />Planning Director Trevis Averett told the Board the Planning Board <br />recommended approval of Barney and Howard Cranford's petition to <br />rezone from Residential Agricultural District to Residential Mixed <br />Conditional Use District approximately 1.22 acres of land on the <br />northern side of Chris Cole Road for the existing Knottwood Mobile <br />Home Park. Commissioner Stafford moved to approve the recommendation <br />of the Planning Board. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Averett told the Board the Planning Board recommended <br />approval of C. M. Laws' petition to rezone from Community Shopping <br />District to Highway Commercial Conditional Use District .79 acres of <br />land south of Greenwood Road for the location of compartmentalized <br />storage for individual storage of residential and commercial goods. <br />Commissioner Stafford moved to approve the recommendation of the <br />Planning Board. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Averett told the Board the Planning Board recommended <br />approval of Jack Maxwell's petition to rezone from Residential <br />Restricted District to Highway Commercial Conditional Use District <br />2.94 acres of land on the western side of Jefferson Davis Highway for <br />the location of manufactured home sales. Commissioner Stafford moved <br />to approve the recommendation of the Planning Board.
