- qq- 0?8 <br />dllb'~ YID i'lrc ~10 <br />$100,00 appropriated to the Recreation Department) and designate for <br />lights at Horton Park, and the balance of $60,000 to go back into the <br />General Fund and appropriate action to be taken at a later time. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives and Stafford <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board continued their consideration of the adoption of <br />Budget Ordinance and Tax Levy for FY 1994-95. Commissioner Paschal <br />moved that the tax rate be lowered from 85 cents per hundred to 84 <br />cents per hundred. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives and Stafford <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered appropriations of $500.00 for the <br />Johnston-Lee Community Action program and $20,000.00 additional <br />dollars for EDC (Economic Development Corp.). Commissioner Reives <br />moved to approve the two above items. Upon a vote, the results were <br />as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives and Stafford <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a Resolution for the Job Training <br />Partnership Act Service Delivery Area. Commissioner Garner moved to <br />approve the following: <br />LEE COUNTY RESOLUTION <br />FOR SERVICE DELIVERY AREA DESIGNATION <br />WHEREAS, The Job Training Partnership Act of 1982 allows local <br />governments to form a consortium and seek designation as a Service <br />Delivery Area; and <br />WHEREAS, such a consortium agreement requires; <br />1. A formal declaration of membership by resolution of the <br />interested local governments; <br />2. Agreement of an organizational structure, and <br />3 <br />
