Commissioner Garner told the Board he would like to <br />see the citizens of Lee County have input into appointments. General <br />discussion took place, but no action was taken on the matter. <br />The Board considered a renewal contract between Lee County and <br />the Area Mental Health Authority to allow the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission to employ a Mental Health Authority client. County <br />Manager William Cowan told the Board a renewal contract needed to be <br />signed for 1994-95. The client would be employed for thirty-nine <br />(39) weeks, forty (40) hours per week for a total of $9,798.00, an <br />increase from $7,147.00 for last year. Monthly reimbursement to the <br />county will be funded from the Division of MH/DD/SAS. Commissioner <br />Reives moved to approve the renewal contract between Lee County and <br />the Area Mental Health Authority to allow the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission to employ a Mental Health Authority client. County Manager William <br />Cowan told the Board that Allen Roofing Company had filed Chapter VII <br />Bankruptcy with no assets and he was asking the Board to release this <br />account to clear out records.
