County Attorney K. R. Hoyle explained to the Board that a <br />public hearing must be held to determine if there is a need for <br />providing water services in the unincorporated areas of Cape Fear, <br />Deep River, East Sanford, Greenwood, Jonesboro and Pocket Townships, <br />to determine if the residents in these areas will benefit from the <br />district's creation and to determine if it is economically feasible <br />to provide the proposed water service in these districts without <br />unreasonable or burdensome annual tax levies.
