004 us 15 PrcE 806 The Board considered an appointment to the Board of Health. Commissioner Reives moved to reappoint Dr. Douglas Roscoe to the Board of Health. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker Nay: None The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered a Resolution delegating authority to the County Manager and the Executive Director of Senior Services. The resolution would give the County Manager and Clerk to the Board authority to authorize agreements for appropriations that have been approved in the Budget Ordinance (up to $5,000.00) so these items would not have to go back to the full Board for approval. The resolution also gives the Executive Director of the Department of senior services authority to execute transportation agreements with other agencies utilizing the County of Lee Transportation Services. Commissioner Reives moved to approve the following resolution: RESOLUTION DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO THE COUNTY MANAGER AND THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF SENIOR SERVICES BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee as follows: SECTION 1. The County manager and the Clerk to the Board are hereby authorized to execute the necessary agreements within funds included in the budget ordinance for the following purposes: (1) Leases of normal and routine business equipment where the annual rental of each is not more than $5,000; (2) Consultant, professional, or maintenance service agreements where the annual compensation of each is not more than $5,000; (3) Purchase of apparatus, supplies, materials or equipment where the purchase price is not more than $5,000; (4) Agreements for acceptance of state, federal, public and non-profit organization grant funds and funds from other governmental units for services to be rendered; 4
