BOOK 15 pncf 83P 0 0 6 <br />The Board considered a request for appeal of late listing <br />penalty from Duro Industries, Inc. Tax Administrator Nathan Crissman <br />told the Board Duro Industries, Inc. is requesting that a 10% late <br />listing penalty charged to them be repealed in the amount of <br />$2,332.12. Commissioner Reives moved to approve the request to <br />appeal a 10% late listing penalty for Duro Industries, Inc. in the <br />amount of $2,332.12. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered recommendations of the Planning Board. <br />Planning Director Trevis Averett told the Board the Planning Board <br />recommended holding a public hearing on an amendment that would <br />require replacement of nonconforming mobile homes to be with units <br />not over fifteen (15) years old. After much discussion Commissioner <br />Stafford moved to table the matter. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Averett told the Board the Planning Board wished direction <br />from the Commissioners on the addition of sections to the Lee County <br />Zoning ordinance which would define and regulate the location of <br />adult establishments. After much discussion, Commissioner Reives <br />moved the matter be referred to the County Attorney who is to work <br />with the City of Sanford Attorney and the District Attorney to come <br />up with the strongest ordinance possible, and return the matter to <br />the Planning Board for consideration before coming back to the Board <br />of Commissioners. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Averett told the Board a committee appointed by Planning <br />Board Chairman James Wicker met in August with the County Attorney to <br />discuss provisions in the Subdivision ordinance pertaining to <br />extension of streets to adjoining properties. After some discussion <br />commissioner Reives moved to table the matter. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />6 <br />
