013 <br />aunK 838 <br />Commissioner Stafford joined the meeting at this time. <br />After much discussion Chairperson Matthews appointed a committee <br />of Planning Board Chairman James Wicker, Planning Board member Oliver <br />Crawley, Commissioner Reives and Commissioner Paschal to work on this <br />together and bring back a recommendation at the next meeting. No <br />action was taken on the matter. <br />Trevis Averett, Planning Director, discussed with the Boards' a <br />rezoning request by Thomas H. VandeRiet to rezone from Residential <br />Agricultural District to Heavy Industrial Conditional Use District 10 <br />acres of land on the western side of Jefferson Davis Highway for the <br />location of a manufactured housing panelized housing plant. <br />Mr. Thomas VandeRiet, owner of Homes by Vanderbuilt, Inc. spoke <br />in favor of the rezoning request. <br />Mrs. Phyllis Venrick of 3212 Jefferson Davis Highway, Mr. & Mrs. <br />Joseph Kocisko of 3220 Jefferson Davis Highway and Mr. Joel Lammond <br />representing Lemmond Family Enterprises spoke in opposition to the <br />rezoning request. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to close the public hearings. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives and Stafford <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chairperson Matthews moved to hold an Executive Session to <br />discuss a personnel matter. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives and Stafford <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously <br />and the Board was in executive session. Following the Board's <br />discussion in executive session, commissioner Paschal moved the <br />executive session be closed. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives and Stafford <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to adjourn the meeting.
