Bcc� 24 i.;C[ 67 <br />N.C.G.S. 14- 288.12 through N.C.G.S. 14- 288.17 and any and all applicable local <br />plans, mutual assistance compacts and agreements, the Chairman of Lee <br />County Board of Commissioners does hereby proclaim that a State of <br />Emergency exists within the following jurisdictions: <br />County of Lee <br />➢ City of Sanford <br />I further proclaim that the ordinances set forth below, which are contained in "An <br />Ordinance To Provide For Emergency Management in the Unincorporated Areas <br />of Lee County" duly registered under Book 00003, Start Page of 0003, End Page <br />of 0011, within Instrument # 08001, Chapter 14 Article II Section 14 -31 through <br />Section 14 -37 of the City of Sanford Code of Ordinances entitled "Civil <br />Emergency Management ", "An Ordinance to Provide For Emergency <br />Management within the Incorporated Limits of the Town of Broadway," and are <br />necessary in order to maintain an acceptable level of public order, services, and <br />protection of lives, safety and property during this emergency, and that the same <br />shall be in effect within the applicable jurisdictions of County of Lee and the City <br />of Sanford until this Proclamation expires or is rescinded. I hereby order all <br />county law enforcement officers and employees and all other emergency <br />response personnel subject to my control to cooperate in the enforcement and <br />implementation of the emergency ordinances below as indicated: <br />Possession, Consumption & Transfer of Intoxicating Liquor <br />1. No person shall possess or consume any intoxicating liquor, including <br />beer and wine, other than on his or her premises in the affected areas. <br />2. No person shall sell, purchase, transport or otherwise transfer any <br />intoxicating liquor, including beer and wine in the affected areas. <br />Curfew <br />1. No person not exempted by this proclamation shall appear in public in the <br />geographic area described in this proclamation between the hours of 8 <br />p.m. and 8 a.m. of any day. <br />
