Commissioner Garner moved to go into closed session to discuss <br />the location of industry in Lee County,:a real property matter and a <br />personnel matter. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously <br />and the Board was in closed session. Commissioner Stafford asked <br />that School Superintendent Steve Wrenn, School Board Chairperson Jan <br />Perkinson and School Board member David Simpson be allowed to attend <br />the closed session. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously <br />and the Board was in closed session. Following the Board's <br />discussion in closed session, Commissioner Garner moved to go out of <br />the closed session. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Garner moved to recess the meeting for dinner and <br />reconvene at 7:00 P.M. for the scheduled public hearings. Upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously <br />and the meeting recessed in keeping with the motion. <br />005 <br />The meeting reconvened at 7:00 P.M. in the Commissioners' Room <br />of the Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, <br />North Carolina, with all members present except Commissioner <br />Dossenbach. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to hold joint public hearings with <br />members of the Planning Board on matters of mutual concern as <br />advertised and scheduled for this date and time. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />5 <br />
