Commissioner Stafford moved to approve a proclamation declaring <br />November, 1994, as National Hospice Month in Lee County, a copy of <br />which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part <br />hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a proclamation declaring Saturday, November <br />5, 1994, as Immunization Day in Lee County. Masonic Lodge # 151 was <br />requesting this proclamation be considered by the Board. <br />Commissioner Garner moved to approve a proclamation declaring <br />Saturday, November 5, 1994, as Immunization Day in Lee County, a copy <br />of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a <br />part hereof. Airport Chairman Jerry Lawrence was present <br />and answered questions of the Board. After some discussion <br />Commissioner Garner moved the Airport Authority submit to the Board <br />of Commissioners a monthly accounting report on expenditures by line <br />items and revenues coming in for a basis of explanation. Upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered an appointment to the Lee County Planning <br />Board. Commissioner Paschal moved to appoint Ms. Nancy Wenger Rose <br />as the second alternate to the Lee County Planning Board. Upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a resolution releasing the County's share <br />of funds to the Triangle J Council of Governments.
