f 15 ~f 849 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA 041 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * OCTOBER 17, 1994 J The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 4:00 P.M. in the Commissioners' Room at the Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Commissioners' present were F. Hubert Garner; Bertha L. Matthews; Nathan E. Paschal; Robert T. Reives; William C. Stafford, Jr.; and Gordon A. Wicker. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. was not present due to being out of town. Chairperson Matthews presided and the following business was transacted: County Attorney K. R. Hoyle delivered the invocation. The Board reviewed the draft of the minutes of the regular October 3, 1994, Board of Commissioners meeting. Commissioner Garner moved to approve the minutes as the official record of said meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker Nay: None The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered approval of the agenda. Commissioner Stafford asked that discussion on real property be added to the closed session portion of the meeting and commissioner Paschal asked that a personnel matter be added to the closed session discussion. Commissioner Stafford moved to approve the agenda as printed, with the above additions. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker Nay: None The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered a proclamation declaring November, 1994, as National Hospice Month in Lee County. Hospice of Lee County was requesting this proclamation be considered by the Board. 1
