f <br />15 ~f 849 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />041 <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />OCTOBER 17, 1994 <br />J <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County <br />of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 4:00 P.M. in the <br />Commissioners' Room at the Lee County Government Center, 106 <br />Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Commissioners' present <br />were F. Hubert Garner; Bertha L. Matthews; Nathan E. Paschal; Robert <br />T. Reives; William C. Stafford, Jr.; and Gordon A. Wicker. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. was not present due to being out <br />of town. <br />Chairperson Matthews presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle delivered the invocation. <br />The Board reviewed the draft of the minutes of the regular <br />October 3, 1994, Board of Commissioners meeting. Commissioner Garner <br />moved to approve the minutes as the official record of said meeting. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered approval of the agenda. Commissioner <br />Stafford asked that discussion on real property be added to the <br />closed session portion of the meeting and commissioner Paschal asked <br />that a personnel matter be added to the closed session discussion. <br />Commissioner Stafford moved to approve the agenda as printed, with <br />the above additions. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a proclamation declaring November, 1994, as <br />National Hospice Month in Lee County. Hospice of Lee County was <br />requesting this proclamation be considered by the Board. <br />1 <br />
