Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered term limits for the Lee County Economic <br />Development Corporation. Economic Development Executive Director Don <br />Moss asked the Board to consider changing term limits from two-years <br />to three-year terms for members of the Lee County Economic <br />Development Corporation. This would make these term limits <br />consistent with all other County boards. After some discussion <br />commissioner Garner moved to approve changing term limits for the Lee <br />County Economic Development Corporation from two-years to three-year <br />terms. After further discussion Commissioner Stafford made a <br />substitute motion to table the matter. Upon a vote of the substitute <br />motion, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a proposed contract between Lee County and <br />the Economic Development Corporation. Economic Development Executive <br />Director Don Moss asked the Board to approve the proposed contract <br />between the County of Lee and the Lee County Economic Development <br />Corporation. After some discussion Commissioner Reives moved to <br />table the matter. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered transferring sick leave time from the State <br />to Lee County for Economic Development Executive Director Don Moss. <br />County Manager William Cowan told the Board it was the County's <br />policy to accept employees that have worked with other units of <br />government over the state to transfer sick leave from the State to <br />Lee County. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the transfer of <br />514 hours of sick leave from the State to Lee County for Don Moss. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />7 <br />
