60 ox 15 pa'I 863 <br />Section 3. The Clerk to the Board shall publish a <br />notice of issuance of said order as required by G.S. 105-317(c)(3). <br />Section 4. This resolution is effective from and after <br />its adoption. <br />Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered Tax Releases and Refunds for September, <br />1994. Tax Administrator Nathan Crissman was present and answered <br />questions of the Board. After some discussion commissioner <br />Dossenbach moved to approve Tax Releases and Refunds for September, <br />1994. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Paschal, Reives, Stafford <br />and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairperson ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a proclamation declaring the week of <br />November 18-24, 1994, as Annual Farm-City Week. Cooperative <br />Extension Director John Hall and Farm-City Chairman Ed Garrison were <br />present and answered questions of the Board. Commissioner Paschal <br />moved to approve the following proclamation: <br />P R O C L A M A T I O N <br />WHEREAS, the growth and development of the County and well-being <br />of all of its citizens are dependent upon cooperation and change <br />between the two essential environments of our society: farmers and <br />city people, and <br />WHEREAS, the complexities of their individual problems and the <br />divergence of their activities may lead to a widening gap of <br />misunderstanding, and <br />WHEREAS, any gap of misunderstanding must be eliminated, and <br />each group must understand the other if our American way of life is <br />to endure, and <br />WHEREAS, Farm-City Week provides an unparalleled experience for <br />farm and city people to become better acquainted, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, we do hereby proclaim the period of November <br />004 <br />4 <br />
