_ 006 4 <br />BOOK 15 PACE 882 <br />Planning Director Trevis Averett told the Boards' consideration <br />needed to be given to amend the Lee County Zoning ordinance by adding <br />a new "Section 3. Temporary Occupancy Permit for Class A, Class B. <br />and Class C Manufactured Homes." This amendment would provide for <br />temporary occupancy of a mobile home for up to sixty (60) days prior <br />to installation of the required foundation enclosure when the <br />occupants have suffered the sudden loss of their home due to events <br />such as fire, wind, or flood or when the owner is installing a <br />masonry foundation, provided a guarantee bond is posted. In either <br />situation a reinspection fee must also be paid. The Planning Board <br />was to discuss and recommend the amount of bond to be posted and <br />present to the Board at the next meeting. <br />No one spoke for or against amending the Lee County Zoning <br />Ordinance. <br />Commissioner Wicker left the meeting at this time. <br />• Mr. Averett discussed with the Boards' a rezoning request by AGA <br />Corporation to rezone from Residential Restricted District to Light <br />Industrial District 8.82 acres of land located west of Harvey Faulk <br />Road and 300 feet east of the centerline of Lee Avenue, lying between <br />the City of Sanford's Extra-territorial Jurisdiction boundary and its <br />city limits. <br />Mr. Van Groce of Groce Real Estate, representing AGA <br />Corporation, spoke in favor of the request. <br />Mr. Gary Lyons of 918 Windy Lane, who owns land in the area, and <br />Mr. Jimmie Cox of 4341 Saint Andrews Road spoke in opposition to the <br />request. <br />Mr. Averett discussed with the Boards' a rezoning request by AGA <br />Corporation to rezone from Residential Restricted District to Heavy <br />Industrial District 53.53 acres of land west of Harvey Faulk Road. <br />Mr. Van Groce of Groce Real Estate, representing AGA <br />Corporation, spoke in favor of the request. <br />Mr. Jimmie Cox of 4341 Saint Andrews Road spoke in opposition to <br />the request. <br />Mr. Averett discussed with the Boards' a rezoning request by <br />Lloyd Atkins to rezone from Residential Agricultural District to <br />Residential Restricted District 62.67 acres of land located southwest <br />of Farrell Road. <br />Mr. Lloyd Atkins of 8801 Deep River Road spoke in favor of the <br />rezoning request. <br />Ms. Laura Young of 7500 Deep River Road was concerned about the <br />6 <br />
