Hoyle announced that Commissioner Hubert <br />Garner had received four votes and Commissioner William Stafford, Jr. <br />had received three votes. Mr. Hoyle announced that Commissioner <br />Garner had been elected Chairman. <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle called for the election of a Vice <br />Chairman for a one-year term. Commissioner cox moved to elect the <br />Vice-Chairman by written ballot. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle ruled the motion had been adopted <br />unanimously and distributed ballots and after they were marked, and <br />signed, when counted the results were as follows: <br />VOTED FOR <br />Cox <br />Stafford <br />Dossenbach <br />Stafford <br />Garner <br />Stafford <br />Moretz <br />Reives <br />Reives <br />Stafford <br />Stafford <br />Stafford <br />Wicker <br />Cox <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle announced that Commissioner Stafford <br />had received five votes, Commissioner Reives had received one vote <br />and Commissioner Cox had received one vote. Mr. Hoyle announced that <br />Commissioner Stafford had been elected Vice-Chairman. <br />Commissioners Garner and Stafford thanked everyone for their <br />votes and support and pledged to work together for the best interest <br />of the Board and the County. <br />At this time the meeting recessed to move to the Gordon A. <br />Wicker Community Conference Room due to the large number of <br />individuals in attendance for the meeting. <br />The Board considered approval of the agenda. Commissioner <br />Stafford asked that comments from Mr. Jim Lathren, representing the <br />Chamber of Commerce, be allowed and item 6-T be moved up on the <br />agenda to follow comments from Mr. Lathren. County Manager William <br />Cowan asked the Board to consider changes to the current Rules of <br />003 <br />3 <br />
