014 <br />8011~ 15 Du ,r 899` <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF <br />LEE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br />BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of Commissioners of Lee County, North <br />Carolina that The Zoning Ordinance of Lee County, North Carolina be, <br />and it hereby is, amended as follows: <br />Amend the Zoning Ordinance, ARTICLE XIII, ADMINISTRATIVE <br />AND LEGAL PROVISIONS by adding a new SECTION 3, as <br />follows: <br />"SECTION 3. TEMPORARY OCCUPANCY PERMIT FOR CLASS A, <br />CLASS B, AND CLASS C MANUFACTURED HOMES. <br />Owners of Class A, Class B, and Class C manufactured <br />homes may apply for a temporary occupancy permit to allow <br />them to occupy such residences prior to completion of the <br />foundation enclosure required by Article IV, Section 2, <br />Definitions - Manufactured Home, Class A; or Article VI, <br />Section 5. <br />(a) Temporary occupancy shall be permitted for a period <br />not to exceed sixty (60) days under the following <br />conditions: <br />(1) When the occupants of the manufactured home <br />have suffered sudden loss or damage of their <br />home due to an event such as fire, wind, <br />flood, earthquake or other catastrophe; or <br />(2) When the owner is installing a masonry <br />foundation enclosure, provided, a performance <br />guarantee such as cash, certified check, bond, <br />or letter of credit is posted with the County <br />in an amount fixed by the Board of County <br />Commissioners to ensure compliance with this <br />Section. <br />(b) All local and State Building Codes must be complied <br />with prior to issuance of the temporary occupancy <br />permit. <br />(c) A reinspection fee in an amount fixed by the Board <br />of County Commissioners must be paid with the <br />application for a temporary occupancy permit. <br />(d) Failure to complete the foundation enclosure <br />requirements of this Ordinance within the temporary <br />
