nnn 15 It,`, 906 <br />budget amendment to cover the cost of an environmental survey and <br />inspection costs for the Heins Telephone building and lots. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to approve the budget request. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a request to add an Information Processing <br />Assistant I position to the Lee County pay plan. County Manager <br />William Cowan told the Board the State had recently adopted new <br />classification titles for all competitive services clerical <br />positions. Most of the classification titles have already been added <br />to the Lee County Classification Pay Plan, as supplied by the <br />Regional Personnel office. one position was still under review and <br />the Personnel Department has just received notification of this <br />position. He asked the Board to add this position to the current pay <br />plan. After some discussion commissioner Reives moved to approve <br />adding the Information Processing Assistant I position to the Lee <br />County Classification Pay Plan at a Grade 59. He further requested <br />that in the future a list of names and departments, along with <br />current salary and new salary be supplied to the Board when position <br />are added to the pay plan.
