0 <br />Bud 15 RK, 801 <br />MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />DECEMBER 16, 1994 <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />The adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for <br />the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 9:00 A.M. in <br />J the Commissioners' Room at the Lee County Government Center, 106 <br />Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Commissioners' present <br />were Jimmie M. Cox; John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; F. Hubert Garner; J. <br />Douglas Moretz; Robert T. Reives, William C. Stafford, Jr.; and <br />Gordon A. Wicker. <br />Chairman Garner presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle delivered the invocation. <br />The Board reviewed the draft of the minutes of the December 5, <br />1994, meeting. After noting a correction, Commissioner Moretz moved <br />to approve the minutes as the official record of said meeting. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle gave the Board a report on a claim <br />discussed in closed session at the last meeting. He told the Board a <br />voluntary dismissal with prejudice had been entered, effective <br />December 15, 1994, in the suit of Cynthia D. Applewhite against Lee <br />County. The claim is no longer outstanding. <br />The Board considered approval of the agenda. Commissioner <br />Moretz asked that a resolution honoring William C. Stafford, Jr.'s <br />father be added to the agenda and he be allowed the right to expand <br />I <br />1 <br />
