County Manager <br />William Cowan asked that a change order for asbestos abatement on the <br />courthouse project be added; item K be deleted from the agenda; and <br />consideration of cost of demolition to the upstairs courtroom in the <br />old courthouse be considered. No action was taken on the matter. <br />The Board heard discussion on upgrading <br />services to paramedic level. Commissioner Moretz <br />Kearns from the Montgomery County Emergency Medic <br />to the Board concerning this matter. Lee County <br />Director Warren Lee was also present and answered <br />Board. Lee <br />Camp #803 to place a twelve inch plaque under a picture of General <br />Robert E. Lee, which will be unveiled at the new courthouse on <br />January 21, 1995. Mr. Joe Leggett from Camp # 803 was present and <br />answered questions of the Board. He also requested the Board approve <br />the request to fly the First National Confederate Flag at the <br />courthouse on January 21, 1995, the day the portrait will be <br />unveiled. Commissioner Reives moved to approve placing a twelve inch <br />plaque under the portrait of General Robert E. Lee and the flying of <br />the First National Confederate Flag at the courthouse on January 21, <br />1995.
