Commissioner Stafford seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered appointments to the Youth Commission which <br />currently has three vacancies. After some discussion it was the <br />general consensus of the Board to make these appointments at the next <br />meeting. <br />No action was taken on the matter. <br />The Board considered upgrading a Van Driver position for Senior <br />Services. Transportation Coordinator Robert Brown was present and <br />asked the Board to consider upgrading an existing Van Driver position <br />which has been vacated by the retirement of one of the other drivers. <br />After some discussion commissioner Reives moved to approve the <br />reclassification of a current Van Driver position to Lead <br />Transportation Driver at Grade 56. Commissioner Dossenbach seconded <br />the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered budget amendment # 02/06/95/14. Finance <br />Director Lisa Minter was present and answered questions of the Board. <br />The Health Department was requesting approval of $20,097 for Rural <br />Obstetrical Care Incentive funds to be used to pay for medical <br />back-up and consultation for the Physician Extenders from the <br />Carolina Women's Center, and $6,070 in new funds from the <br />Immunization Program to be used for advertising.
