0 BUOR 15 PACf 929 0 4 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * FEBRUARY 6, 1995 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 4:00 P.M. in the Commissioners' Rbom at the Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Commissioners' present were Jimmie M. Cox; John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; F. Hubert Garner; J. Douglas Moretz, Robert T. Reives; William C. Stafford, Jr.; and Gordon A. Wicker. Chairman Garner presided and the following business was transacted: County Attorney K. R. Hoyle delivered the invocation. The Board reviewed the draft of the minutes of the January 23, 1995, meeting. Commissioner Cox moved to approve the minutes as the official record of said meeting. Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and Wicker Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered approval of the concept of the organization of the Lee County Board of Equalization and Review and considered a proposed Resolution. After some discussion commissioner Stafford moved to approve the proposed Resolution to establish the Lee County Board of Equalization and Review, with five members and two alternates, a copy of the revised Resolution is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Stafford and Wicker Nay: Reives The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a six to one vote. 1
