Basnight & Sons $ 8,635.00 <br />Carrboro, NC <br />After some discussion commissioner Reives moved to approve the low <br />bid from Smith Congleton Hardware, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, for <br />$7,831.00. Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the installation of an additional <br />groundwater monitoring well at the Lee County Courthouse property. <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle told the Board that East Coast <br />Environmental, P.A. is requesting the Board approve a Request for <br />Access and Authorization to allow for the addition of one well to the <br />existing encroachment approved by the Board at an earlier meeting. <br />After some discussion Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the <br />Request for Access and Authorization to allow for the addition of one <br />well to the existing encroachment. Commissioner Wicker seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Chairman Garner moved to recess the meeting until 7:00 P.M. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and <br />the meeting recessed for dinner. <br />Upon returning at 7:00 P.M. with all members present, the <br />meeting resumed. <br />E <br />007 <br />7 <br />
