006 <br />~u 15 pt,sE 981 <br />budget amendment # 04/03/95/19, a copy of which is attached to these <br />minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Commissioner <br />Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a Grant Award for the Criminal Justice <br />Partnership Program. County Manager William Cowan explained the <br />grant to the Board and answered questions. Commissioner Stafford <br />moved to authorize the Chairman to execute a Grant Award for <br />$17,436.50 for the Criminal Justice Partnership Program; approve a <br />Pre-Trial Release Coordinator position (Grade 66) to be established <br />and added to the Lee County Pay Plan, and instructed that a release <br />be signed by the individual hired for the position stating if grant <br />money is no longer available the position will no longer be funded. <br />Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered surplus government property located at 226 <br />Carthage Street (The Federal Building). County Manager William Cowan <br />told the Board he had been notified that this property has been <br />determined to be surplus government property and is available for <br />disposal. After some discussion Commissioner Dossenbach moved that <br />the County Manager and County Attorney meet with a representative of <br />the General Services Administration office to discuss a proposal and <br />obtain more detailed information concerning this property. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a name for the Lee County Schools <br />Administrative offices located at 106 Gordon Street. Commissioner <br />Stafford moved to accept the name of "Heins Education Building". <br />Commissioner Reives submitted the name of "W. B.
