Commissioner Stafford moved to approve the <br />Board Resolution for Centura Bank. Commissioner Cox seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the Cumnock Water System debt. Finance <br />Director Lisa Minter told the Board the process for taking over this <br />system is almost complete and the debt needs to be taken care of with <br />BB&T. The payoff amount, as of April 18, 1995, will be approximately <br />$5,820.00. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the payoff of <br />the Cumnock Water System, to BB&T, of approximately $5,820.00. <br />Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered changing the date for the open house and <br />dedication ceremony of the new courthouse/jail/law enforcement <br />center. Commissioner Reives moved to approve Sunday, May 7, 1995, as <br />the date for open house. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and <br />upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered an appointment to the Senior Services <br />Advisory Board. Chairman Garner told the Board Mrs. Ann McKoy had <br />agreed to serve on this Board. After no other nominations were <br />received, commissioner Stafford moved to appoint Mrs. Ann McKoy to <br />the Senior Services Advisory Board.
