0 M OR 15 PACE 990 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA APRIL 17, 1995 J The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 4:00 P.M. in the Commissioners' Room at the Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Commissioners' present were Jimmie M. Cox; John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; F. Hubert Garner; J. Douglas Moretz; Robert T. Reives; William C. Stafford, Jr.; and Gordon A. Wicker. Chairman Garner presided and the following business was transacted: County Attorney K. R. Hoyle delivered the invocation. The Board reviewed the draft of the minutes of the April 3, 1995, regular meeting. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the minutes as the official record of said meeting. Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and Wicker Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered the draft of the minutes of the April 10, 1995, Work Session. Commissioner Stafford moved to approve the minutes as the official record of said meeting. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and Wicker Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. The Board considered approval of the agenda. County Manager William Cowan asked that an item for discussion be added on Senate Bill 468, a bill to allow County Commissioners in all counties to reorganize local human services boards. He also asked the Board consider an appointment to the Senior Services Advisory Board. 001 1
