0 M OR 15 PACE 990 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />APRIL 17, 1995 <br />J <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County <br />of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 4:00 P.M. in the <br />Commissioners' Room at the Lee County Government Center, 106 <br />Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Commissioners' present <br />were Jimmie M. Cox; John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; F. Hubert Garner; J. <br />Douglas Moretz; Robert T. Reives; William C. Stafford, Jr.; and <br />Gordon A. Wicker. <br />Chairman Garner presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle delivered the invocation. <br />The Board reviewed the draft of the minutes of the April 3, <br />1995, regular meeting. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the <br />minutes as the official record of said meeting. Commissioner Moretz <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the draft of the minutes of the April 10, <br />1995, Work Session. Commissioner Stafford moved to approve the <br />minutes as the official record of said meeting. Commissioner Cox <br />seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered approval of the agenda. County Manager <br />William Cowan asked that an item for discussion be added on Senate <br />Bill 468, a bill to allow County Commissioners in all counties to <br />reorganize local human services boards.
