6m N Faf 8 <br />Manager William Cowan told the Board he proposed to lease 700 square <br />feet of space to the State of North Carolina, Department of <br />Correction, Adult Probation and Parole, at a rate of $9.00 per square <br />foot ($525.00 per month). Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve a <br />letter to the North Carolina Department of 'Correction to lease 700 <br />square feet of space in the renovated courthouse at $9.00 per square <br />foot. Commissioner Stafford seconded the motion, and upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Stafford moved to recess the meeting while the <br />Board deliberated as the Lee County Water and Sewer District No. 1. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />After completing matters as the Lee County Water and Sewer <br />District No. 1, Commissioner Dossenbach moved to go into closed <br />session to approve minutes from the last closed session, consider and <br />establish negotiations regarding an employment contract and discuss <br />and consider the performance of an individual public employee. <br />Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, <br />wicker <br />Nay: None <br />Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and <br />the Board was in closed session. Following the Board's discussion in <br />closed session, Commissioner Dossenbach moved to go out of closed <br />session. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved that a contract with the County <br />os <br />6 <br />
