BOOR 16 FACE 9 0 5 <br />presented to the Board a sketch of the proposed parking areas. After <br />some discussion commissioner Moretz moved to table the matter until <br />the May 8, 1995, Work Session. Commissioner Reives seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: Cox <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a six to one <br />vote. <br />The Board considered budget amendment # 05/01/95/22. Finance <br />Director Lisa Minter answered questions of the Board. Commissioner <br />Dossenbach moved to approve budget amendment # 05/01/95/22, a copy of <br />which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part <br />hereof. Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, <br />the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a request to waive the county's portion of <br />an assessment fee on the Rocky Fork Church Road waterline. County <br />Attorney K.R. Hoyle told the Board Lee Paving Company installed, at <br />its expense, a six-inch waterline from US No. 1 along Rocky Fork <br />Church Road for approximately 1.2 miles to property which it owned. <br />The County entered into a reimbursement contract whereby it would <br />charge people who tap in to the line an assessment of $5.00 per foot. <br />Lee Paving would receive $4.21 per front foot until July 1, 1998,or <br />until it was reimbursed $47,139.00, whichever first occurred. Mr. <br />Mark Stewart, President of Lee Paving Company has advised the County <br />they will waive any assessment fee for Mrs. Elizabeth McIver, a <br />property owner on Rocky Fork Church Road. The Board was being asked <br />to waive the County's portion of the assessment fee which would be <br />$783.68. After some discussion Commissioner Stafford moved for the <br />County to waive the assessment fee and approve a Release to this <br />affect, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this <br />reference made a part hereof.
