Commissioner Moretz seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered bids for playground equipment to be erected <br />at the Gilmore Terrace Apartment Complex. Health Director Eugene <br />Hines told the Board he had received bids from the following: <br />Mosteller Design & Company $ 17,139.51 <br />Columbia, SC <br />Bliss Products & Services, Inc. $ 13,674.00 <br />Bryson City, NC <br />Larry Hasley & Associates, Inc. $ 15,565.34 <br />Greensboro, NC <br />After some discussion commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the <br />low bid of $13,674.00 from Bliss Products & Services, Inc. for <br />playground equipment for the Gilmore Terrace Apartment Complex. <br />Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered Tax Releases and Refunds for April, 1995. <br />Tax Administrator Nathan Crissman was present and answered questions <br />of the Board. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve Tax Releases <br />and Refunds for April, 1995. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, <br />and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered bids for the replacement of windows at the <br />Jonesboro Library. County Manager William Cowan told the Board this <br />had been approved in the FY 1994-95 Budget. The following bids were <br />considered: <br />03 <br />3 <br />
