na 16 pnf 47 <br />The Board considered recommendations of the Planning Board. <br />Planning Director Trevis Averett told the Board the Planning Board <br />recommended a petition by Carol Michael Yarborough, Jr. to amend the <br />Zoning Ordinance of Lee County Article VII, Section 3. Table of <br />Permitted Uses and Article VII, Section 4.3 Regulations for Special <br />Use Permits by adding the following use: <br />"Recreational facilities, privately owned for commercial <br />gain, where the activity is conducted primarily outside <br />of enclosed buildings such as swimming or tennis, etc.; <br />and not constructed as part of a planned residential <br />development." Said use shall be permitted subject to a <br />Special Use Permit in the Residential Agricultural (RA), <br />Residential Restricted (RR), and Residential Mixed (RM) <br />Districts and as a Use By Right in the Office and <br />Institutional (OI) District. <br />Commissioner Cox moved to approve the recommendation of the Planning <br />Board. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />Mr. Averett told the Board the Planning Board recommended <br />approval of the petition by Steve and JoAnn Boles to amend the Zoning <br />Ordinance of Lee County Article VII, Section 3. Table of Permitted <br />Uses and Article VII, Section 4.3 Regulations for Special Use Permits <br />by adding the following use: <br />"Manufactured home for hardship." Said use shall be <br />permitted subject to a Special Use Permit in the <br />Residential Agricultural (RA), Residential Restricted <br />(RR), and Residential Mixed (RM) Districts. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to approve the recommendation of the <br />Planning Board. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously.
