goon 16 pm E 006 <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the reappointment of commissioner <br />Dossenbach to the Social Services Board. County Attorney K.R. Hoyle <br />told the Board The North Carolina Department of Human Resources, <br />Division of Social Services had notified the County Manager's Office <br />that the term of Commissioner Dossenbach on the Social Services Board <br />expired June 30, 1995. Chairman Garner had reappointed Commissioner <br />Dossenbach to serve another three-year term on this Board. After <br />some discussion Commissioner Moretz moved to approve the <br />reappointment of Commissioner Dossenbach to the Social Services <br />Board. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the renewal vehicle maintenance agreement <br />with the City of Sanford. County Attorney K. R. Hoyle told the Board <br />the Sanford Board of Aldermen approved the renewal vehicle <br />maintenance agreement at one of their earlier meetings. He further <br />told the Board that the twin post lift listed on page three of the <br />agreement had already been purchased and therefore needed to be <br />eliminated from the agreement. County Manager William Cowan asked <br />the Board to consider a rate increase from $35.00 per hour labor to <br />$43.00 per hour. After some discussion Commissioner Reives moved to <br />approve the vehicle maintenance agreement with the City of Sanford, <br />deleting the twin post lift on page three, and increase the hourly <br />labor rate from $35.00 per hour to $43.00 per hour. Commissioner <br />Stafford seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Reives, Stafford and Wicker <br />Nay: Moretz <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted by a six to one <br />vote. <br />The Board considered a voting <br />delegate <br />for the <br />1995 Annual <br />Conference in Pinehurst on August <br />24-27, <br />1995. <br />Commissioner <br />Dossenbach moved for Chairman Hubert <br />Garner to <br />represent <br />Lee County <br />as the voting delegate for the 1995 A <br />nnual Conference. <br />Commissioner <br />Cox seconded the motion, and upon <br />a vote, <br />the resu <br />lts were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, <br />Moretz, <br />Reives, <br />Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />6 <br />
