booi; . 16 ;,„r 120 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />JULY 12, 1995 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County <br />of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 4:00 P.M. in the <br />Commissioners' Room at the Lee County Government Center, 106 <br />Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Commissioners' present <br />J were Jimmie M. Cox; John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; F. Hubert Garner; J. <br />Douglas Moretz; Robert T. Reives; William C. Stafford, Jr.; and <br />Gordon A. Wicker. <br />Chairman Garner presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />County Attorney R. R. Hoyle delivered the invocation. <br />The Board chose this time to present Mrs. Margaret Murchison <br />with a framed resolution honoring her for being selected as the News <br />Director of the Year. <br />The Board considered drafts' of the regular June 19, 1995, <br />meeting; budget work session for June 26, 1995; and the regular <br />meeting for June 26, 1995. After noting a correction, Commissioner <br />Dossenbach moved to approve the minutes' as the official records of <br />said meetings. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Moretz, Reives, Stafford and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered approval of the agenda. County Manager <br />William Cowan asked the Board to consider 1) residential service <br />contracts between the County of Lee and County of Harnett and the <br />County of Lee and County of Johnston for provision of residential <br />services for the Hillcrest Youth Home; and 2) a closed session to <br />consult with the County Attorney concerning a litigation between <br />Wilmington Mechanical and Piping and the County of Lee; and consider <br />001 <br />1 <br />
