0 Bow 16 135 <br />After a brief recess, Clerk to the Board Gaynell Beal, swore <br />Mrs. Matthews into office. A copy.of the oath of office is attached <br />to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. At this <br />time Commissioner Matthews took her seat on the Board. <br />The next order of business was the election of a new Vice <br />Chairman for the Lee County Board of Commissioners. Chairman Garner <br />declared the floor open for nominations. Commissioner Dossenbach <br />moved to elect Commissioner Doug Moretz as Vice chairman. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to close the nominations and accept by <br />acclamation Commissioner Moretz as Vice Chairman. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz, Reives and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />Commissioner Reives asked the Board to consider a Resolution for <br />requesting information bearing on the financial operation of the Lee <br />County School Administrative unit. County Attorney K.R. Hoyle told <br />the Board this item could be discussed if there was a unanimous vote <br />by the Board to consider the matter. Commissioner Cox stated he was <br />opposed to discussing the matter. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner <br />Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz, Reives and <br />Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and <br />the meeting adjourned. <br />F.
