Commissioner Dossenbach told the Board two <br />individuals had resigned from this Board and needed to be replaced. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach nominated Mr. Fred Garner and Ms. Viola <br />Bowlin to serve on this Board. Commissioner Moretz nominated Mrs. <br />Lea Brown. Chairman Garner asked to abstain from voting due to <br />personal reasons. Upon a vote the following results were tabulated: <br />Mrs. Lea Brown received votes from Commissioners <br />Dossenbach, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Ms. Viola Bowlin received one vote from commissioner Cox <br />Mr. Fred Garner received votes from Commissioners <br />Dossenbach, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Chairman Garner announced that Mrs. Lea Brown and Mr. Fred Garner <br />were elected to serve on the Rest Home and Nursing Home Advisory <br />Board. <br />The Board considered an appointment to serve on the Lee County <br />Personnel Board due to the recent resignation of Youth Services <br />Director Todd Edwards. Commissioner Dossenbach nominated Finance <br />Director Lisa Minter to serve on the Personnel Board. Commissioner <br />Moretz seconded the motion and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered distribution of county funds to the Lee <br />County Economic Development Corporation. Economic Development <br />Director Don Moss asked the Board to distribute funds to that <br />Corporation on a quarterly basis. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to <br />distribute funds to the Lee County Economic Development Corporation <br />on a quarterly basis. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and <br />upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to recess the meeting and go into the <br />Lee Count Water and Sewer District No. 1 meeting.
