aooR 16 YrcF 148 <br />Tax Administrator Nathan Crissman told the Board charges for copies <br />have not been increased since the 1990-91 fiscal year. Commissioner <br />Cox moved to increase charges for copies for the Tax Department as <br />presented by Mr. Crissman, a copy of which is attached to these <br />minutes, and by this reference made a part hereof. Commissioner <br />Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a water line extension on Keller Andrews <br />Road. Public Works Director Kenny Cole told the Board Church of <br />Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, located on Keller Andrews Road, <br />wished to make a developer extension, which would be an expansion of <br />the Lee County water system. He further told the Board he had <br />reviewed and studied the plans and recommended approval of the <br />extension. Commissioner Reives moved to approve the water line <br />extension on Keller Andrews Road. Commissioner Cox seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a bid for property located at 205 Hillcrest <br />Drive (old Group Home). Thornton Rentals has submitted a bid to the <br />County Manager of $30,000 for this property. County Attorney K. R. <br />Hoyle explained to the Board the upset bid process and answered <br />questions. Commissioner Reives moved to reject the bid received and <br />advertise the property again. Commissioner Matthews seconded the <br />motion. After discussion commissioner Reives withdrew his motion. <br />After further discussion Commissioner Reives moved to approve a <br />resolution authorizing the advertisement of an offer to purchase <br />property at 205 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, NC, a copy of which is <br />attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. <br />Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the purchase of a used 1988 one-ton pickup <br />(utility bed) from the City of Sanford with approximately 68,000 <br />miles. County Manager William Cowan told the Board this vehicle <br />would replace a 1978 one-half ton pickup with approximately 160,000 <br />011 <br />4 <br />
