008 <br />BOOK 16 Faf 170 <br />After much further discussion and comments from the public in <br />attendance, Commissioner Reives moved to close the public hearing on <br />the Watershed Map of Lee County. Commissioner Cox seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Averett told the Boards' an amendment to the Lee County <br />Zoning Ordinance, ARTICLE IV, SECTION 2 needed to be considered to <br />add the following definition: <br />"Bed & breakfast home: A private residence offering <br />bed and breakfast accommodations to eight (8) or less <br />persons per night for a period of less than one week." <br />Amend ARTICLE VII, SECTION 3. Table of Permitted Uses by adding the <br />following uses: <br />"Guest or tourist home <br />Bed and breakfast home" <br />Said uses shall be permitted as a use by right in the <br />Residential Agricultural (RA), Residential Restricted <br />(RR), Residential Mixed (RM), and Office and <br />Institutional (01) Districts. <br />Mr. David Derr of 4700 Laws Road in Lemon Springs spoke in favor <br />of the amendment. He and his wife wish to open part of their home as <br />a bed and breakfast home. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the request. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to close the public hearings. <br />Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board <br />Commissioner Reives moved to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner <br />Dossenbach seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />8 <br />
