NORTH CAROLINA 27330 <br />APRIL 4, 2011 <br />The regular meeting of the Lee County Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of <br />North Carolina, convened at 3 p.m. in the Commissioners' Room, Lee County Government Center, <br />106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, on said date. Commissioners present were Richard B. <br />Hayes, Larry "Doc' Oldham, Charles T. Parks, Nathan E. Paschal, Robert T. Reives, and James K. <br />Womack, Jr. Commissioner (Chairman) Linda A. Shook was absent from the meeting due to a family <br />emergency out of state. <br />Vice Chairman Oldham called the meeting to order and the following business was transacted: <br />Commissioner Oldham delivered the invocation. <br />The pledge of allegiance was recited. <br />The Board considered additions /changes to the Agenda. With no changes made, <br />Commissioner Parks moved to approve the Agenda as presented. Upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Hayes, Oldham, Parks, Paschal, Reives, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Shook <br />The Vice Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Hayes moved to approve the Consent Agenda which consisted of the following <br />items: <br />• Minutes from the March 16, 2011 Webinar on Local Government Budgeting; <br />• Minutes from the March 21, 2011 regular meeting; <br />• Reappointment of the following individuals to the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council <br />(JCPC) Board: <br />Roger Judd Concerned Citizen <br />Marsha Woodall Chief Court Counselor <br />Brenda Potts Director of Social Services <br />Nicolle Phair Juvenile Defense Attorney <br />Gaynell Lee Designee of County Manager <br />
