The Board considered a public hearing on proposed issuance by The Lee County Financing Authority of its Tax-Exempt Mode Industrial Development Revenue Refunding Bonds for Trion, Inc. Project. County Attorney K. R. Hoyle explained to the Board the purpose of the bond hearing. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to hold a public hearing for the above stated purpose. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz and Reives Nay: None The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the public hearing was open. Mr. Steven Schneider, President of Trion, Inc. and Mr. Calvin J. Monsma, Finance Officer for Trion, Inc. were present and told the Board the refinancing of these bonds will enable the company to expand and increase the employment of Lee County. This will be a good deal for the company and Lee County. Mr. Richard Golan of 1419 Kelly Drive asked questions concerning the revenue bonds. No one spoke in opposition to the request. Commissioner Dossenbach moved to close the public hearing. BY THE ISSUANCE OF TAX-EXEMPT ADJUSTABLE MODE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT REVENUE REFUNDING BONDS IN A PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $3,200,000 3
