C1 <br />Boni 16 218 <br />005 <br />The Board considered an agreement with the City of Sanford to <br />split the fee for Dixon-Odom & Company on refund of sales taxes. <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle shared with the Board an agreement he had <br />drawn between the City of Sanford and Lee County for the City to pay to <br />the County 31% of invoices received by the County from Dixon-Odom & <br />Company for fees earned pursuant to such contractual arrangements. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to approve the agreement as presented by <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and <br />upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Reives moved to recess the meeting until 7:00 p.m. <br />Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and <br />the meeting recessed. Upon returning at 7:00 p.m., with all members <br />present except Commissioner Wicker, the meeting resumed. <br />Commissioner Moretz moved to hold public hearings with the Lee <br />County Planning Board. Commissioner Dossenbach seconded the motion, <br />and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz and Wicker <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Chairman invited Planning Board members to join the <br />Commissioners for public hearings scheduled for this date and time. <br />Planning Director Trevis Averett told the Boards' that Mr. Robert <br />M. Hattler was requesting to rezone from Residential Agricultural <br />District to Office & Institutional District approximately 30,000 square <br />feet of land at 3850 Highway 87 South. <br />Mr. Robert Hattler of 1634 Stonegate North, Carolina Trace, spoke <br />in favor of the rezoning request. He told the Boards' he was a general <br />contract and his daughter was a licensed realtor. If approved, he <br />plans to open an office on the site. <br />No one spoke in opposition to the request. <br />Mr. Averett told the Boards' a request to amend the Zoning <br />5 <br />
