noK 16 -r« 249 <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and <br />the meeting recessed. <br />Upon returning at 7:00.p.m., with all members present except <br />Commissioner Moretz, the meeting resumed. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved to hold a joint public with the <br />Planning Board. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon <br />a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Chairman invited Planning Board members to join the <br />commissioners for a public hearing scheduled for this date and time. <br />Planning Director Trevis Averett told the Board Dr. William D. <br />Roscoe, Sr. was requesting to rezone from Residential Agricultural <br />District to Residential Restricted District 158.12 acres of land on <br />Sheriff Watson Road. <br />Attorney Jimmy Love, Sr., representing Dr. Roscoe and Dr. <br />William Roscoe spoke in favor of the rezoning request. <br />Individuals speaking against the rezoning request were: Mr. <br />Wilson Weathers of 5404 Sheriff Watson Road; Ms. Shelia Bolduck of <br />5828 Blue Jay Drive; Mr. Buck Holder of 5425 Holder Road; Mr. and <br />Mrs. William Garner of 2306 Kentrywood Farm Road; Mr. Tom Harrington <br />of 4826 St. Andrews Church Road; Mr. Jerry Batchlor of 4107 Swann <br />Station Road; Mr. Michael Gaster of 5828 Edwards Road and Mr. Steve <br />Thomas of 3720 Johnson Cemetery Road. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to recess the public hearings until <br />December 11, 1995, at 7:00 p.m. Commissioner Reives seconded the <br />motion, and upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />There being no further business <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to adjourn <br />1995, at 9:00 a.m. Commissioner Reives <br />a vote, the results were as follows: <br />to come before the Board, <br />the meeting to December 4, <br />seconded the motion, and upon <br />00! <br />7 <br />
