Eoo~ B 243 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />MONDAY, NOVEMBER 20 1995 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County <br />of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 4:00 p.m. in the <br />Commissioners Room, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest <br />Drive, Sanford, North Carolina. Commissioners, present were Jimmie <br />M. Cox; John R. Dossenbach, Jr.; F. Hubert Garner; Bertha L. Matthews <br />and Robert T. Reives. Commissioner J. Douglas Moretz was absent due <br />to being out-of-town. <br />Chairman Garner presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />Commissioner Jimmie Cox delivered the invocation. <br />The Board considered a draft of the November 6, 1995, meeting. <br />After noting a correction, Commissioner Cox moved to approve the <br />minutes as the official record of said meeting. Commissioner <br />Dossenbach seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results were as <br />follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered approval of the agenda. Commissioner <br />Matthews asked that a review of 1995 taxes for property located on <br />Carthage Street, owned by Ms. Ruth Gurtis, be considered. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved to approve the agenda as printed, with <br />the above addition. Commissioner Reives seconded the motion, and <br />upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a concealed handguns ordinance for Lee <br />County.
