Finance <br />Director Lisa Minter answered questions of the Board. Commissioner <br />Reives moved to approve budget amendment # 12/04/95/10, a copy of <br />which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part <br />hereof. Commissioner Cox seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a request to accept computer equipment for <br />the Library valued at $2,505.81. Finance Director Lisa Minter told <br />the Board The Library Trustees have approved accepting from the State <br />Library of North Carolina, computer equipment valued at $2,505.81, to <br />enable the Lee County Library to help provide access to the North <br />Carolina Information Network. The County will be responsible for <br />installation, basic hardware and software maintenance and <br />troubleshooting. Commissioner Reives moved to approve the acceptance <br />of computer equipment from the State Library of North Carolina valued <br />at $2,505.81. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the transfer of sick leave and years of <br />service from the North Carolina Department of Correction for Randell <br />Woodruff, Youth and Adult Services Director. County Manager William <br />Cowan told the Board that Mr. Woodruff had 358 hours of sick leave <br />and a total of 11 years and 8 months of service he would like to <br />transfer to Lee County. Commissioner Matthews moved to accept Mr. <br />Woodruff's 358 hours of sick leave balance and give credit for 11 <br />years and 8 months of State service from the North Carolina <br />Department of Correction.
