After <br />some discussion Commissioner Matthews moved to approve the following: <br />BE IT RESOLVED the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee <br />as follows: <br />SECTION 1. Wicker Community Conference Room, 1st <br />floor, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, <br />North Carolina, beginning at 7:30 a.m. and concluding at 9:30 a.m. <br />SECTION 5. The County Manager is directed to cause a copy <br />of this resolution to be posted on the courthouse bulletin board and <br />a summary of it to be published at least ten (10) days before the <br />first meeting to which the resolution is to apply. <br />Commissioner Moretz seconded the motion, and upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Cox, Dossenbach, Garner, Matthews, Moretz and Reives <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered annual examination of official bonds. <br />County Attorney K. R. Hoyle told the Board each year the Board of <br />Commissioners are required by General Statute to examine bonds for <br />the following individuals: <br />- Sheriff - $10,000 <br />- Register of Deeds - $50,000 <br />- Every other officer of the county who is required by <br />law to give a bond for the faithful performance of the <br />003 <br />3 <br />
